In 1994, on the rugged and beautiful island of Deer Isle, Maine, a small company with a bold vision was born. Surrounded by the cold, nutrient-rich waters of the North Atlantic, Coastside Bio Resources began as a research-driven endeavor to unlock the health benefits hidden in the sea.

What started as a local effort soon became a global mission.
